I have studied and practised various Martial arts & Combat sports for over 40 years. From training in the hired school halls in the early ’80s to become one of Coventry’s most experienced practitioners in the arts of Jeet Kune Do, Kali-Escrima, Muay Thai, and Pentjak Silat. As with many others, In the 90s UK was practising Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, achieving a blackbelt in 2018. Involved in Coaching MMA for Combat Athletes to compete at a high level in the Sport. My passion for these Arts/Sports sees me continue my study looking into such recent innovations in Combat Sports, such as Phil Norman’s Ghost Kickboxing and Erik Paulsons Combat Submission Wrestling. I appreciate the diversity the arts offer, which fuels my passion for furthering my studies. Arts from any Country, new innovations to well-kept secrets. I currently represent SBG Straight blast gym International & the Magda Institute.
