We accept children from the age of 5 years. Our classes are designed to be engaging and fun as well as informative, relevant and well disciplined. 

Whilst you complete your trial sessions, we recommend you attend in some loose clothing such as a teeshirt and joggers. Leggings are also suitable and are worn by most adult women. Once you become a member and train regularly, we ask you to wear club uniform. We have WOSW branded suits for children as you to purchase a BJJ gi.

Yes, absolutely. Our sessions are designed for all ages, abilities and levels of fitness. In fact, getting into shape can be achieved by regular attendance and sustained effort. Many people consider martial arts as one of the best ways to become fitter, healthier, and more toned. 

Yes we have women only sessions taught by a women coach. These take place on Sunday mornings. There are no males on-site during these sessions. 

No. You will not be tied into any long tern contract but are required to give 1 months written notice if you intend to cancel your membership. Re-instatement of a cancelled membership will carry a cost of £40. 

Yes we offer 1 free trial lesson when booked via our website. Each aditional trial class cost £5 per session and needs to be paid for up-front. You can purchase upto 4 trial sessions. These sessions are available to give you an opportunity to get a good feel for our classes, coaches and other students. If after this you decide to continue training, we have a number of options designed to suit all abilites and training goals. If you are a parent/guardian, you are welcome to attend sessions to watch at your convenience. 

Cost depends on how often you intend to train each week. Monthly membership starts at £34.99 per month and is collected by Direct Debit. We have 4 attendance options; PAYG - pay online before attendance, Bronze - Train once per week, Silver - Train 2 times per week, Gold - Unlimited Training (subject to session restrictions such as age and experience). Annual membership/Licence costs £40 and is payable upon joining or in January for existing members. Also, some of our classes require wearing of protective training equipment such as gloves, head and foot guards. We can supply these items upon request but members can purchase from elsewhere.

Yes, we have a dedicated carpark here at WOSW. Free to all members. 

Yes, once you have reached the required level of skill and confidence to compete, we whole-heartedly encourage this. We have a number of events and competitions that we attend each year and have students competing in BJJ, MMA, Kickboxing and Point Fighting.

Yes, we offer a 15% discount for students upon presentaion of valid identification.

Yes, parents are welcome to stay within our viewing area. We respectfully ask that parents do not interfere with the training, instructions from the coach or distract their child during sessions. We also ask that parents respect the sessions by keeping noise to a minimum throughout. 

We respectfully ask that uniform is kept in good clean condition and worn to all sessions. We also ask that uniform that has either been worn out or outgrown is replaced promptly.
